The 2019 National Conference on Student Leadership (NCSL), held November 22–24 in Orlando, Florida, inspires student leaders to dream more, learn more, do more and become more. We take leadership beyond a functionary title by exciting students with the vision of becoming positive change agents and leadership role models. With additional offerings to benefit advisors, NCSL offers a transformational learning opportunity for all attendees that will directly benefit your campus.
Programming for Today’s Student Leadership Needs
In 2018, student leadership groups and activists found their voice on college campuses and, indeed, in the national arena. In 2019, we’ll help channel that raw energy into positive reflection and focused leadership activities for the greater good.
Students want hands-on, high energy learning environments, and NCSL delivers, with presentations and workshops that engage and inspire emerging campus leadership. Attendees come away with:
A fresh understanding of effective leadership principles and opportunities for personal growth
Proven strategies for efficiently administering student organizations and identifying areas to change on campus
A network of like-minded peers who share a focus on and are committed to improving campuses and communities
Enhanced productivity and motivation to lead change on campus and in their post-college careers
Actionable advice from inspiring presenters who hold a wealth of leadership experience both in and out of the academic setting
Exposure to best practices from other college campuses, many translatable to their campus
More than anything, students leave the conference with a deeper understanding of their personal "leadership legacy" and the motivation to take it to the next level.
